Present Continuous

Struttura:

  • Affermativa: Soggetto + to be (am/is/are) + verbo + -ing.
  • Esempio: "I am playing soccer." / "They are playing soccer."
  
  • Negativa: Soggetto + to be (am/is/are) + not + verbo + -ing.
  • Esempio: "I am not playing soccer." / "She is not playing soccer."
  
  • Interrogativa: To be (am/is/are) + soggetto + verbo + -ing?
  • Esempio: "Are you playing soccer?" / "Is he playing soccer?"
 

Uso:

Il Present Continuous si usa per:
1. Azioni che stanno avvenendo in questo momento: "I am writing a post."
2. Azioni temporanee: "She is studying in Italy for a month."
3. Futuri programmati: "We are meeting tomorrow."
